Jeremy, what is your opinion on making Mallard Lake bigger? I think with the pressure that is put on the existing 300 acres the AGFC would have a hard time arguing that more fishing area is needed. Especially with the silting rate of the refuge

Thanks Jeremy for all your hard work, an informed public is a happy public. Your info should answer a lot of speculation.

Roughneck,
I agree that we need to work on getting more information out about what we do and see. This is one of the reasons we come on here.
Arkcrappie,
It would be great to be able to expand fishing opportunities in NE Arkansas. We could definitely use some more. Unfortunately, I don’t see that happening anytime soon.
Joekiller,
I’m glad you had a couple of successful fishing trips. Sorry it wasn’t in Arkansas, though.
Mojorig...the name says it all...sure wish it was crappiestocker instead. Btw I am just messing with ya I love Duckhunting also! I'm just not as successful at it as I want to be. I have a lot less frustrating days crappie fishing. Someone take this man crappie fishing and let's turn him into a crappie addict!
Geagle81,
Lol, I have never been duck hunting in my life. I am a year round fisherman. My handle refers to a type of bass fishing rig similar to a Carolina rig (A Guide to Modern Rigging). I used it all the time when I was a part-time guide on Norfork Lake in high school. That rig brought a lot of happiness too many people in my boat, while they were catching fish with it.
Jeremy
Geagle81,
No worries, I get asked about my name all the time. I use it in all the forums that I visit. On my personal time, I have caught some crappie from time to time but I love chasing those green carp!!
