    Default Lake of sir Charles

Gave up on idea of Portia bay n decided on lake Charles . After fishing for 5-1/2 hrs the decision was made to go eat fish at Portia Dairy Queen much warmer , scenery better , and the only way to get fish in our belly today !!

They were biting a little at Portia. Caught everything deep on a joker jig.

well, i am sorry you could not tie into some of those 7 or 8 inch slabs...pick up one of those slabs every once in a while...most of the fish are 5 or 6 inchs...
Save the planet, it is my favorite place to fish...

Everything was only 10 fish. I spent too much time fishing with minnows and the fish did not want them. Caught those 10 in the last 45 minutes I was there.

Hey you tried...thats all that matters in the full spectrum of things. They may have won the battle today...but they have'nt won the war as long as you continue to try, My money is on you having many more great days on the water fighting off the Silver hoard. Tight lines.
