    Default Arkansas boater education

I was wondering how many have completed this course already. Most of us are grandfathered in and did'nt have to but would'nt be a bad idea anyway.

Who Needs a Boating Education Card?

Anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 1986, and of legal age to operate a motorboat or sailboat, must have successfully completed an approved AGFC Boating Education Course and carry proof while operating a motorboat or sailboat on Arkansas water.

My 13 year old daughter took boaters ed in school a while back. Now she tells me everything i'm doing wrong in the boat. I guess i'm gonna have to let her run the motor soon.

Well I am sure I don't need to course....most times when I am out on the water and pass folks they wave one hand with one finger up telling me I am a number one boater.....looks to me like you guys need to learn my habits.

I sat thru it with my son. Good navigational info if you run large congested lakes or the river. Mr green jeans chapter was eye opening.....I'll make sure I never fish 3 people out of my boat in Pulaski co
