I know of a few gents that would be over twice my age if they were still with us that fished and hunted year round and I think one of their best kept secrets would have to be how they managed to get out of the house so often and never came home to bags on the porch I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that these gentlemen fished and hunted to feed the family, not for the sport of it.. Or likely it was a combination of the two! Anyways, makes a man appreciate what we have and the fact that the majority don't fish because we have hungry families anticipating our catch and relying on us but instead we are blessed to have the opportunity and ability to enjoy the sport of it (even if it involves minners lmao).

Take a kid fishing and better yet take him/her AND another kid fishing even if it's one you hardly know. It can have more of a positive affect on their life than you may ever know (trust me I know!)
