My dad, grandad, and uncles fished lakes in the White River bottoms. I started going when I was real young and that's where I love to do most of my fishing now. I thought for a long time that was the only place to fish. I loved it then and I love it more now. The harder it was to get to a lake and the muddier you got the better. A lot of people still fish there but it's to rough for some. A lot of the time your the only one on some of these lakes. Some I have to walk a good distance and you take just enough equipment to fish. I fish alot of other places now but because of the men that taught me about these places I'll not quit going.
