Raised rabbits for a spell and when I began, I didn't know nothin' about them. Got my "start", i.e., buck and a doe from an old school, old timer. He said; " here is the best advice I can give you about raising rabbits, and also knowing the rabbit it's self. Go sit with them as much as you can for as long as you can and they will teach you everything you need to know". so......Go allot. Fish allot. Try different things. Learn about "the bite". Sometimes it is "on" and you'll catch a boat load, next time it's "off" and you can't buy a bite even if you're a millionaire, so learn when it is on and go fish more,,... when it is! The longer you have a fishing rod in your hand,,... and fishing,,... the more answers you will receive. Shortcut to "it" all,,....crappie.com! Good luck and enjoy your "study"!
Oh by the way,,...I ended up, when I stopped raising rabbits, with over 100 does that I had for Mother does, and seven registered, award winning, rabbits as breeding stock and show rabbits. My does gave me a liter every 60 days and it took the babies just seven weeks from birth to sell as a 3lb fryer! They averaged eight to a littler! It took me three years of learning and being with the rabbits to be able to breed up, out of my own stock, to get a two way, registered cross for the mom does, and then to get a three way cross when I added the buck, for the ones that I was selling! The fun was in the learning.* Have a good day.
