    I plan on getting one this afternoon, does anyone know if these are good units? I'm going from the cheapest humminbird made so it will be a world of difference to me.

    Just so happens Academy is running a sale on them...this is a about $50 cheaper than normal. Dont pay attention to the "was" price

    I like the Lowrance 7s just a dollar or two more

    I've enjoyed owning the unit for the last couple of years, and that is a heck of a price. I may buy one for another boat with that price.

    I ordered mine from gander mountain last night, they have it for 378.00 after mail in rebate.(color, down image and GPS)
