    Gold Creek or if that place is too packed, you may try Green's lake or Adam's lake.

    Yeah I noticed there was no one in the area other than the guys fishing the bass tournament. That's twice now I have went and not been around other crappie fisherman. You think that would be my first clue. I guess I just think my bass instincts should translate but apparently not. Thanks for all the advice. Going to start over in the morning. Hopefully with better results.

    welcome from the south shore of lake conway. I went green & adams lake today it was the sameway no fish. water was still muddy and wind had no mercy

    Sounds like this weather has gave these fish a case of lockjaw. Need to get them a tetanus shot!

    Gold Creek was dead yesterday. 3 Crappie 5 Drum and 1 yellow bass. But, I did better than 8 others. Guru is a good resource.

    I wouldnt say it was dead. I got a 15.5 incher that weighed 2.3lbs. I only ended up with ten, but I met Crappie Greg at the ramp and he had a limit. It was slow, but better than other parts of the lake.
