If they don't float well enough, you could add some foam pipe insulation to a couple of sides. It would make them a bit bulkier, but it should work.

Limb lines are fine if you have limbs... The purpose of floating yoyos is when you have nothing to tie your yoyo on...IMO I often set them on grass beds.

I made some floaters out of 1/2" flexible PVC pipe like a ring with a "T" pointed up and hung the yoyo to it works amazing gets up beside tress and brush and you don't have to stick ur hand in the water

Thanks to all that helped with this topic. I roughed one together and just need to finish it off. If I did my math right, I should have about $5.20 in each completed floating yo yo.

Hows the flotation on these? Also I would recommend you get some red reflective tape to put on them. The silver tape seems to blend in with the relfection of the water at night and red seems to be easier to find.
