Yep I get hunger about 6:00 my self. "bait gets more active at this time and it starts a natural predatory reaction in crappie" This could be the oxygen in the water becoming lighter with more air/oxygen in the water that would course fish to reaction maybe. Oxygen make a lot of thing move or get better as in humans.
It been said on here that fish feed 2 time a day and I could see that happen.

I go back to the question, How come at dark? Why not at 2pm or 9am? I think we all fished and the bite pick up at dark.
