I guess I'm officially old. I got my Medicare card in the mail yesterday, to take effect June 1.
Made me think. I am sure I am "stating the obvious" to you guys, but in case anyone doesn't know............ IF you are over 62, you can get an "America The Beautiful" pass card from the Federal Parks Service. It is normally $80 for young folks, but only $10 if you are 62. That card lets you get into every National Park in America (everyone in the car) free and is good for a lifetime.
BUT it's real value is that if you show it to the COE, they will sell you the $30.00 annual parking pass for half price! You can get the card at most National Parks (Google the card for a list by state of locations that sell it), or you can pay another $10.00 'processing fee' and get it via U.S. Mail.
(Speaking of which, I need to find somewhere to get a new parking pass, mine has expired).
Just FYI in case you didn't know.
Good info....thanks
