But I really like side by side competition when the "SHADOW LURKERS" show up and even strain to see what ur using I usually just toss them a pack of CRAPPIE MAGNETS and move on what's annoying to me is when the Yoyo crowd invades but that's all part of it I guess!

I was also a lurker for several years and decided to join because of the comrodery and good folks on this site , I do believe that is the only reason lurking is allowed , to hopefully gain new members after they see what this site is about , however I do see folks that use this site only for personal gains that don't contribute ,but what is the solution? Even with the explosion of crowds and crappie fishing most of us still manage to catch fish without much aggrevation from others, two cents!!

Check out the MS board. They have recently started a members only fishing report forum. I'm sure you could also get one started over here if there was support for it. Btw, it's located at the top of MS off topic.

I fell like I lurk on here; but then I don't use you guys intell either i may get the opportunity to be in the boat 2-5 times a year with the little ones at home they are blessing me for my time spent with them right know. I do understand what ABH is saying though and that would frustrate me too.

This site gives me a free service to read about the sport I love and have loved since my dad got me started when i was tinny. So thanks to you fellas for that and to slab for his vision

ABH I meet you at the boat ramp

I am a member here but I lurk way more than I post. I dont get to get out and crappie fish as much as I would like to so people posting info about where they are biting and how deep they are really help me out. Fishing can get expensive and I for one appreaciate people who I consider way more knowledgeable than me at least providing info on what body of water and technique is producing. Also, I wouldnt mind sharing any info I have if I thought it would help someone have a more positive fishing experience. The reason I dont post much is because I dont have much good info that would help people on this site. It looks like several people on here flat know how to catch crappie
