I've said all I'm going to CJ , tired of being a target.

On lake Conway, if someone hasn't seen me catching fish, my answer is they are not biting. I don't want to be dealing with someone fishing right on top off me or them in my spot tomorrow. All you Conway guys know what I'm talkin about. A fishing report in Conway is like a virus, it's spreads quick. Yesterday there were five boats and the day after there is 25 boats.

I guess I'm confused.
I didn't mean to start any kind of controversy. I just posted what was on my mind. I didn't direct it to anyone.

I totally understand where everyone is coming from. Although I love to crappie fish, I also fish alot of bass tournaments, and with that everything has to be a secret if you want a chance at winning. I enjoy coming here and reading everyones replies. I am very new to the site but have no intention of just being a lurker. Crappie fishing to me is my kick back relax and have fun fishing. Its all about fun, even bass tourneys but this is more relaxed and i feel I can be more open to my ( very little) knowledge and hope to learn alot too. I don't have and hope others don't have intentions of "stealing honey holes" out from under people. Fishing is a blessing that God gave us and I hope that everyone who wants to can enjoy it the way I do!!

Whew. Sometimes I offend folks just by lookin' at 'em!! Not that I blame 'em!

As far as giving away info..........I"ll say this. I have a fishing buddy.......non-internet-savvy guy, but a great meat man (he catches 'em, I net 'em), and he spends all day at the coffee shop telling everyone that wants to know where we fished. He'll draw maps, whatever. And I have to say, it used to bother me. But I began to notice........it made NO difference. There'd be a ton of boats where we went sometimes, yeah. I don't know if it was because of him or not. But they'd not do very well and they'd leave. But whether they left or not, we caught fish. So...........I decided it didn't matter if you shared.

And besides, I don't fish on Saturday anymore (I even built my own website dedicated to that!!), so I don't care to share.

I realize others aren't that way, though. And as bad as I am at this crazy sport, I also realize I need a lot more info than I have available to share, especially on hot spots!
