    Go every chance you get.
Find the fish and stay on them, eventually they will bite. Some days they bite all day, some days only a few minutes.
Don't get too frustrated ! Pay no mind to the folks that claim they catch em' every time. It's not so.

My advice is get active in this site... make some friends and try to get in some of these guys boats. Plenty of folks on here to show you whats up. There is a ton of reports on lakes on here Pm the folks who make them and see if you can get them to help you further. Come to Crappie camp if you can make it.

Your best advise will come from what you learn yourself by going. Like most have said, TOW (Time On the Water) is the key. Talk to people on this site that fish the way you do. Most guys on here, including me, think they know it all anyway. You won't have any problem getting advise!!!! Lmao

Good luck, and if I can be of ANY help or answer any questions, don't hesitate to call or PM me.

One more thing, it would be good for you to buddy up with someone that fishes your area whether they are members here or not. You can learn the most from an experienced fisherman in your neck of the woods. Experience is the one thing you can't buy, and no one can give it to ya!!!!!

My one tip would be dont spend too much time in one spot. If you have electronics, use them to mark fish and/or shad. If you dont see that, dont waste your time, who cares if they were there yesterday. Also, if you do see them but cant get them to bite, move on. You can easily waste a couple hours beating a spot to death. Keep moving til you find some active fish.

You can't catch fish sitting on the couch, you have to be out there fishing. If what you are doing isn't working, do something different.

Oh and listen to the guys on here (not me though), most know what they are doing (not me though).

Maybe I'll see you on the water near Des Arc this spring.

    Good luck
