When are you planning to come through AR? That will probably make a difference on which lakes to fish. I would recommend Conway from Sep. thru March/April then STAY AWAY unless you are experienced with that type of lake, ie. finding the right trees to fish, mosquitoes as big as grasshoppers, stumps that have teeth, that sort of thing.

A limit most 10 to 12'' fish with a few nice ones can be caught if you know where to look. True it is full of small fish but is catching fish all day even have'n to released most of them a bad thing? Just don't expect many over 2 lbs . 100 + fish days on Nimrod more the norm than the exception in stable water and weather.

Thanks for the advice, we've got lakes like Truman and Pomme like that up here. It's stump city and I've seen more than one lower unit get torn to shreds. I'm gonna give it a go hopefully late March early April. I'm not set in stone yet. May have to con the wife in to going down this summer to serve as a double venture to one of those Hot Springs or something down there. I'm really hoping to get to MS this spring though may have to do the circle this summer.
