Thread: Old Town

I was back down that way duck hunting this past weekend and stopped by the lake and checked the water as I came by it.

The spillway is open and the lake is still 6-8" high. The upper end (from the public ramp back to the east/northeast) it is MUDDY! On towards the spill way there might be 1-2" of clarity at the very best. I did not check the lower end, but from the road it looked to be pretty dingy.

I'm thinking without any rain it should be in good shape in a couple of weeks.

I never went over the levee to look at it. The Mississippi has come up strong the past couple of weeks so I really didn't consider it. I'll take a look at it this weekend while I'm down there and post it.
