    Thanks for all the prayers. Took them supper tonight. Her care giver (husband) is really looking tired. Thank goodness for those helping and for Hospice.

    Yeah the Old ex-football coach we got to know over at Hot Springs is in the same shape, sent home with hospice and given 2wks to 2 months tops. It's a terrible disease and the older I get the more close friends I see pass from it

    This really hit home for me. I've already had a great friend from high school die from cancer, and an uncle who is currently under hospice care. I'd encourage anyone to donate their time and money to help fight this disease. The note I got from Mrs. Fern made my day. It's not always about the fishing. Sometimes it's just extra incentive to do the right thing. Nimrod might be an ornery ole jig fisherman, but you've gotta commend him for putting this together. And Midsouth Man for getting this kind of idea started.
