    Default Dardanelle today.... 1/6/13

I know I'll get blasted on this post without pics but the bite was SLOW at piney..... I did manage 18 by myself an biggest weighing in at 1.97. Single and double poled from 9:30 to 4:00 fishing submerged tops and following the bait fish. Met several cc'ers out there and it was good to see all of you. I'm a little upset cause I didn't get to join the "drum club" like the rest of you......

By the way, if you don't have these in your arsenal, you ought to, hint, hint. Thanks (creekslick) Wayne for making the jigs! They are excellent......and exactly what I was looking for.

Sounds like a good day. You earned em because the pressure jumped about 10 AM and the bite went to a crawl. Congrats.

I was a little disappointed in the drum bite today too. We only managed one and he was little. Haha.

The bite was slow and it was a very light bite. Sometimes when I set the hook on that ozark money stick, I came up emptied handed. Seems like you had to let them "swallow" to really set the hook. But this semis to be a pattern on them high pressure days?
