Hey Minnowman I was down there this fall didn't bring a boat and fished everyday all day. The folks there were really nice about inviting anyone who didn't have a boat to jumpin. I had the time of my life. I don't think you could fine a better bunch of folks anywhere. In the group coming with me from okla. we will have extra seats so anyone will be welcome to chase them slabs with us.

Grubby, that sounds good man. How do you get there? I go to Choctaw quite a bit....I am originally from Ponca City, Owasso, Claremore, and Tulsa, haha.

I have a big OU tattoo on my arm, does that disqualify my rights to fish with your group? lol....sounds good man, I can't wait!

The media event will only be on Tuesday and Wednesday and even then you would be welcome to go along. Darryl and I will be working but we'll have time to take folks out for an hour or two at a time to show how we do our Hovering system and we'll probably be doing some Dabbing in the Shallows too.

Hey Jerry! Thanks for the response, it's always better just to "make sure" before you drive that far, haha. I am really looking forward to it, my vacation time at work renews this week I get three weeks so I'll be ready to set my calendar to April 14th-18th, not to mention that's almost my b-day, April 6th, what a b-day treat!!! Thanks again can't wait to meet all of you! I will try and convince JT Jason Piper to come on down and fish with us, haha.

    Hey minnowman:

I'm looking forward to meeting you. I've been trying to get Jason to come down here sometime. Maybe with both of us pestering him he'll make it this time.

Maybe if I "accidentally" remove the wheels from his boat trailer he will "have nothing better to do?" hahahaha! I sure hope that doesn't really happen now he will think it was me, =). Naw, we got it pretty good around here, people don't mess with stuff too often, but I'd sure like to get him down there too, we would probably not want to leave though.

I hope I don't lose my tires! I can probably make somthin happen to where I come down one evening and stay the night then fish the morning and drive back that afternoon. April is very busy for me and I must take care of business before I vacation! Why can't we have a summer crappie camp in June? That would work for me!

Jason, I would be willing to do the same and drive one way if you'd like, you can sleep on the way home so you can wake up and go fishing back in NWA for a night trip.......we'll talk more come that time, not sure what I will do yet, might go for all 4 days...?

lmao! I get on i-40 and head east to 64, 64 to 71 all the the way to Y-city, 270 out of Y-city to Mount Ida, 27 out of Mount Ida to 70 head west on 70 and you will see the sign for kirby landing. It was a very scenic drive in the fall had to stop and take some pic's. man I'd love to move down in that part of the country. and for the tattoo it would be ok with me but some are osu fans lol.

NICE! lmfao...that would be really fun...just wear a cut-off shirt and see who would be the first to notice the 9" tatt that says OU in flames on my arm, lol.

Well, thanks for the directions...I won't know yet for sure my plans, I may come the entire time or may just come one evening with a buddy and then leave the next afternoon and drive back (stay only one night)...he's a guide up here and stays REALLY busy...thanks for info. Any good places to fish around you over in Choctaw? I go Claremore and Skiatook lakes quite a bit, and Grand Lake sometimes.....later...MM
