Yes it was and coming from someone who'd know. Now when do we have an East wind most of the time? As I watched the weather forecast the past couple of days because I wanted to be in the deer stand and wanted to know which way the wind was blowing my scent around I noticed it was West and then North as the front came barreling through. Then after it had came through it switched to the East before quickly switching back more in a Southerly direction. If you notice the North, NorthEast, and then East winds were during the cloudless, H pressure blue bird sky conditions. Given this I'd say the old timers saying fishing is least when winds outa the East would be more based on the B pressure than anything.
