Lake Ashbaugh is extremely low right now. It is about 8 and 1/2 foot low. We are waiting to get more rain so that we can start pumping the lake back up. I would definitely go to Lake Charles. We are working out there this week and have seen several crappie anglers there. Lake Charles is low but still fishable.
