I've had a pair of them for 9 or 10 years now and I'll say they have held up well after lots of use. However, You'll need to wash them from time to time and when you do they lose their water proof coating. When you do wash them be sure to add plenty of the product that keeps them water proof (can't remember what it's called) . Any outdoor store carries it. Think I paid over four hundred for mine that long ago.
