    Default String rolling

I have some spin casting reels and put some new line on them size #8. For some reason when you cast 2 of them out the line will roll up at the end of the cast. It something like it keep comeing off the reel. Can some one tell me what going on and how to fix it?

Sounds like you spooled the ree backwards. Have your spool in vertical position and spool the reel from the bottom of the line spool, for level wind reel simply reverse and spool from the top. Hope this helps. Woodpecker

Take the spool off reel..line and all....run a sink full of warm to Hot water and soak awhile....
put the spool back on you'll be good to go.

If it is not too much line , pull all out of reel behind the boat with nothing tied on the end. Grasp line between fingers to keep a little tension while reeling back up. This will remove most of the twist and some use ''reel magic'' spray to help relax coiled line. Good luck. Some folks wind line on the wrong way off the spool.

    This might help next time.

It's all in the way you spooled the line onto the reel gindog.

I will to try to fix tomorrow. I was going to do it today. I drop off my son at a spot on the river to hunt and before I began to work on my poles I hear him shoot then my phone ring. He had shot at a deer and need me to help look for blood. I could not fine any. He get set up and I get back in boat to work on reels and 5K min latter he shoots again and call me dad I have kill a 8 point buck. So I was unable to work on reels. But we did get meat.

Great, post us a picture of his Deer.! Try feeding that line out behind the boat with nothing on it and reeling back in with a little tension between your fingers , it should do the trick.
