Default My nephew tore them up!

Ok, so they we're green carp, but at 11 he's quickly showing promise as a great fisherman. Proud grandfather Boatbuilder took him, my sister, and brother-in-law out to do a little green carp fishing yesterday. He was using a 7' rod, with a Shimano Curado openfaced bait caster reel throwing a spinnerbait and caught 5, including the two really good ones in the photo. The big one weighed over 5lbs, and the other one 3lbs.

The great thing about kids is they don't care what's biting as long as its tugging on the line and I bet those pigs were tuggin pretty good.

He's definitely hooked on fishing....and hunting. I've taken him crappie fishing before and he had a blast. If i can get a picture of his latest deer I'll put it on here.
