Eased back over into MS yesterday and met Rip-a-lip to do a little fishing. First time we ever fished together but we had an enjoyable time. Didn't catch as many as we hoped (14) but Cray and Rducks gave us the 8 they had to end with a fine mess. All of our fish were 12.25 to 14. Weapons of choice were 14ft Ozark trolling rods. We ran both gnats and sickle runners tipped on all poles and the gnats in purple/chartreuse seemed to be the best color yesterday.

Those fish are getting fat, caught some nice football crappie yesterday. Kenyon snagged a 4 inch shad by the tail yesterday, crappie are loading up on those.

I really just made the post about "garbage" because Rip took the fish home in a garbage bag. Our day was pretty successful all in all.
