Thread: Caney report

I fished Caney today a little slow for me got 6 good ones fish were being caught the water dropped about a foot or more I was told they have 3 gates open at dam to flood Grassy lake.We are going to Overcup in the morning will give report later.Shad are everywhere in Caney and water is clearing but dropping.

I fished overcup today. Shad are thick in 3 to 5 fow on south end of lake. Easily caught at least 50 crappie, but most were very small. Came home with 14 keepers but those were barely keepers. But it was fun for me. Good luck tomorrow.
