I was out with Xring trying to figure out how to use his new do it all depth finder when I stumbled and fell in the water. He Immedietly went into action and yelled at me to not worry because his new humminbird had a M. O. B. (man over board ) button. I told him that I hope it don't you as long to figure that out as it did to mark a waypoint. I asked him why he don't come on over and get me. He replied that he wanted to see what the MOB button does. After a hour or so, I could barely see him in the far distance moving the boat around in a radical fashion. He was having trouble making the little boat on his map goto the MOB waypoint. Long story short, I saved myself. All Xring needs for a depth finder is a 20' stick marked off in 1 foot increments, a good throw cushion and a compass.
