I bass fished w/ a guy tht lived there 20 yrs ago on saturday. all i can say is LOCKJAW!! he caught a couple of dink bass, and i caught a goggle-eye on a worm. we fished from 6pm - 1130 pm. we fished all along the south end of the lake. we went around the 89 bridge, by the dam, & all around the banks. we couldn't buy a bite.

Randy - wow. I've had days like that but Lake Conway has always been known as a productive bass lake. Not sure what's up with that other than they just weren't biting. That's an area I have fished often for many years for blugill and am seldom dissapointed. Use to be a good area for crappie but I've not done well with them there for several years.
