R.I.P buckwheat. You have served well doing your part to eliminate our waters of trash fish. However, you should have known not to entice the wiley cypress trouts as they can destroy even heavy tackle in a matter of seconds.

    all together now...

Should all aquaintance be forgotten and never brought to mind. A grinnel done ate our dear buckwheat, that jig I doubt we'll find.

them grinnels are some tough creachters, i grew up catching them in some of our local creeks. nothing else is so willing to bite and fights so hard (after it tears up your gear it will comence to knocking everything loose in your boat) lol

We don't have many near where I live. Used to catch em Bass fishing. Shure cause a little excitement till you find out it ain't a Bass. Doubt few actually target Grinnel but then RCC is a little windy. Sure can make folks laugh with his stories. Loves to make jokes about Buckwheat (his own creation of Crappie jig). It catches Crappie and a little of everything else that swims.
