    Default Lake Chicot

Going to be on Lake Chicot for Memorial Day Weekend. Just checking to see if anyone has been fishing it and if they have been having any luck?
    Thanks

Check with Danny at Danny's Place behind Lake Shore Motel. That is where I go.

Look for fish around dock in at least 8 feet of water ,fish will be in the shadiest part of the docks , you may have fish as far under the docks as you can reach ,try fishing 5 -6ft deep minnows or jigs will work ,I like white and chart with red head 1/8oz hope this helps try the docks from lake village south on west side of lake

I would for SURE try a Mid South red/chartreuse or white/chartreuse on a 1/16 jig pitching under the dock with about 6 ft of line and let it fall back to you......they will hit it as it swings out about even with the edge of the dock. Meatgetter Jig in Spanky works really good as well if you can get one. I suggest 4 lb line, but you can use 6 to 8 and probably get similar results. Danny will point you in the right direction. If you do slip over to Mississippi, Luvpt knows what he is talking about over there.
