Thanks Thomas for the info. Do they still have the bait shop upstairs or do I need to pick up some minnows?

Maybe I'm not a big regular here, but I lurk a lot and love reading what all the 'pros' here have to say. I have much to learn about this spot, and am always wanting to know more about crappie fishing.

And Sir, in your first post you asked a question "Can anyone tell me why" as to not getting the response you are looking for. Several folks have told you in pretty simple terms what that answer is. They (and I) don't want to HAVE to be anywhere at any one specific time, don't want to HAVE to fish 'your way' only, don't want to quit fishing at some specified time, and speaking only for myself, I pretty much hate braggarts.

I alread have a TON of competition when I fish. It's WAR. It's me vs. the fish. I hate to lose one. But I ain't gonna stop at X O'clock just to go see how many pounds I have, and I am really happy if you caught ten limits.........goody for you. That pleases me, maybe more than if I catch one limit. I like seeing folks happy. But tournament fishing has done more to ruin fishing than anything I know. JMHO. And that goes back to the first Bassmaster's at Beaver with Mr. Murray and Bill Dance.

So best of luck, but do ME a favor and stop asking the general populace for answers to questions and then fussing when you get 'em.

Good luck with your tourney ideas. I sure hope it stays in MS though........just being selfish.

So you are only intyerested in opinions that agree with you. I see. I might enjoy fishing those tourneys. Now how does the money break down?? What % is paid back to anglers??
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

I was thinking that he wanted a ''crappie club'', but it sounds like he's only wanting to have local tournaments around Memo.
Thomas I think if you just continue posting about where and when the tournaments are, they will start slowly coming.
    Post em, and fish em...
