Takes alot of gall to complain about 1lb fish wearing you out, I'd love to have that problem myself. Good job, I'm just poking some fun.

Food for thought, slab crappie frozen in ziploc bags full of water, in your freezer ain't much help during a tournament. Congrats to all of the Arkansas teams.

Great place for tournaments. Beautiful facilities and scenery and the crappie fishing is good year after year.

Thanks guys, Riverhorse you are right, I really do think Dardanelle is one of the best crappie lakes in the country right now as far as numbers of keepers and slabs mixed in. It was unbelieveable the sheer number of keeper sized plus crappie that were caught, and they were being caught everywhere on the lake by the 1000's. It is hands down the best crappie lake Iv'e been on this year. I cant wait to get back out there with my brother who is visiting right now. We had a great time catching one after another all day long during the tourney. At one point the Tourney Director pulled up to my boat and said "Russ this is one great fishery" I think CrappieMasters will be back real soon to fish Dardanelle agian.
