Who was it in the red Express on Bearskin Sunday afternoon?

Went to Bearskin lake Sunday pm and saw a red Express spiderrigging int he middle of the lake. Just wondering which one of you guys that was.

I was on a bream mission, but McSwain's closes at 4:00 on Sundays, so it turned into a "fishing" trip. only 2 crappie on 2 different jigs.

I used to be able to fish bearskin 6 or 7 years ago with a friend of mine until one day we showed up and a guy told us that only property owners could fish there. Is that still the case? I hope something has changed because I would love to be able to go back there. Great little lake!

Well, sorry to say, that is still true. Those guys that won the property around the lake are a bunch of, well I will put it nicely, they are just plain crazy, and don't like any non-locals out there. I happen to go to church with a guy that lives on the lake, and help him out alot. If you can get somebody out there to give you permission, you are in.

Its still a nice little lake, just gotta watch out for the crazy land owners who think that they own the water on top of thier land that is underneath the water. But there is plenty of area to fish and avoid those people.

I know exactly what you mean by crazy. Had a run-in with a lovely land owner there that called the cops on us for fishing past his dock. We didn't even stop and were moving on when he came out shouting obscenities. Almost turned real ugly before the cops showed up. Wasn't long after that we couldn't fish there any more.

which house, the one on the inside of the lake, or one of them 2 big houses next to the little white one? Probably the one on the inside or the BIG old one with the tractors in the back yard.

It was on the outside of the lake kind of in the middle of the bow. Pretty sure it was a white house, but I may be wrong. Its been a while. The dock had a crazy amount of no trespassing signs on it.
