I think what you are talking about is a green sunfish(aka goggle eye) you can keep 50

I think fifty as well but they are referred to as rock bass and the guide says 10 if their Ozark or Shadow variety. I don't think the ole goggle eye is either variety. So I would feel good about fifty because the guide says 50 for sunfish

"Goggle Eye", is in my opinion an overused nickname. Most commonly, it refers to members of the genus Ambloplites which includes the Rock Bass, Shadow Bass, and Ozark Bass, all of which are present in Arkansas. However, I have seen people refer to Green Sunfish and Warmouth as goggle eye. These last two are members of the genus Lepomis, which includes more well known sunfish or bream such as bluegill and redear.

The Shadow and Rock Bass have limits of 10 fish per person, while the Green Sunfish and warmouth have limits of 50 per person.

Goggle eye is a warmouth. Limit 50 many ppl believe Goggle eye is a rock base but it is not.

Best way I can tell the difference is the warmouth has three spines on the bottom fin, and the rock bass has a bunch. This true?
Or is that just a fluke in those pics? And thats what got all this started. A buddy was arguing with me telling me this weekend that we could only keep 10 of them cause they were a black bass. And we were catching some really nice ones, and I thought I was in trouble, cause I've kept alot more than 10 of them before.

Ben lots of folks here call Warmouth and Green Sunfish Warmouths. I think the reason most folks don't know about Shadow Bass or Rock Bass is because of limited range. We don't have many other than the very northern part of the state to my knowledge. Glad you posted , I have tried many times to set people straight on correct fish identifcation.
