I'd like to thank all of you for your kind words, they really mean a lot to me. Crappie.com folks are very caring people. I'll be back on the water in day or two and my brother will be with me in spirit. Thanks again... Jerry

Jerry, I understand more than most, I lost a uncle last spring to cancer, he was more like a brother to me, we spent many good hours in the woods and waters..from shooting Mallards to catching flathead catfish. He was my hero, a great guy, and a day never passes that I don't think of something we did. Alot of folks don't realize that every fisherman don't click, it takes a certain something, I don't know what..but without it,,its just fishing. May He rest in peace..

Your right xring it was special when we went fishing. He hasn't been able to fish with me since sometime in the fall and I always felt a little guilty going without him. Toward the last I would tell him I was going and he would say he wished he was able, but always tell me to go and catch some for him. He'll still be with me in spirit, especially in some of the places we fished together.

mr. jerry so sorry for your loss. I lost my fishing partner exactly one year ago april 2nd . He and i had been fishing together for about 18 years and i sure miss him alot , i will never forget all that he taught me about fishing and life . Fortunately i still have a brother who i am close to that fishes with me alot and my son who is now 18 and we have a blast with one another . I look forward to making many memories with them but i will never forget my old partner who stuck me by so many years. You are in my prayers !

Sorry and prayers sent. He will be with you always in spirit, thats the way I felt after hitting the lake after losing my dad. His memories will come back to you first time you go fishing.
