I keep my loop knot small no more than 1/4 inch in diameter at the eye of the jig.

What size fast snaps are yall using....the smallest one for a 1/32 or 1/16 oz jig?

I've been tying a Trilene knot since I was about 7 years old but have been considering going to a loop knot.

I have always used a clinch or improved clinch knot but have been considering going to a loop knot for certain applications. I was looking at the animated knots website that Nimrod listed and a few others, and there were a number of loop knots shown. We saw one on this thread, but I was curious if you all tie the same loop knot or if you have other variations.

if yall would go to fas-snaps you would not have to tye a knot in your line and its easy to change jigs or minner hooks on your trolling rigs!!!!!

If you use the type knot that's clinched against the eye...when you get it, so that it sits level....put a drop of fisherman's glue, or fast setting super glue to the eye, on the knot...it will stay there longer, so that between drops, your not having to reset it level to the horizontal line, so it looks more real to the fish...
