Improved clinch or loop knot depending on what I'm doing.

A loop knot KEEPS YOUR JIG HORIZONTAL in the water, is strong, allows for more action, and you never haft to worry about the position of your knot on the eye of the Jig. A loop knot gives you more fishing time through out the day by eliminating the need to constantly readjust a tight knot clinched up against the eye of your Jig. I keep my loop knot small no more than 1/4 inch in diameter at the eye of the jig.

Here is how I tie it, but usually a foot up from the end and a sinker on the end.

I use the one I saw on a video by Todd Huckabee. Its alot like Searay's but I run the tag end through the eye first, then double the line and wrap it around two fingers twice then slide the jig between the loops that I made on my finger twice moisten and pull tight. Takes a little practice but is a strong knot.
