Arkco.......did you get to go to East Lake?? Thats one of my favorite spots to fish in the state. Let me know if you did any good. Also, if you make up to NLR, you need to go to Fish N' Stuff. Old Vince is a very nice guy, and they have a pretty good selection of some stuff.

Where's East Lake located? I heard it mentioned and am now curious.:o

Its pretty close to Holly Grove or Clarendon. It's just a oxbow lake off of the white river. I grew up fishing it quite a bit with my dad, and I love to get over there, I just have not had the opportunity to get there in a while. At times, that lake produces some nice stringers.

I did get to go to East Lake...almost got skunked along with several others I talked to yesterday in the 2 hours I was there. Ended up fishing two other spots and both of them did ok though. Old River was the better of the bunch for me.
