I know that's true but you've got to be around some fish to get bit also. I feel like when I get around some I can catch them...just have in the past for the most part. They are draining the best of the 2 White oaks lakes, sucks! My home lakes of Dierks, Dequeen, and Gillham have never had good #'s of crappie. Millwood seems to but that's a pretty good haul and I've only been on it once and got skunked then + my buddy spoons for those whites down there and never catches many crappie while doing that??
There are fish there , maybe just not fishing proper depth or location. Just because your not catching does'nt mean the fish are not there. I commonly have 100+Crappie fishing days when folks say they are not biting on Nimrod or just a few dinks.
