One of my partners was by Whitehall yesterday or the day before and confirmed there is a big gate with a posted sign blocking the way in and a big, nice clubhouse or cabin on stilts on some of the higher ground to the north. I know at some point they built a dam or weir down around the runout which I think was to hold water or keep rising water out up to 14 or so feet on the Memphis gauge. Can anyone confirm that? My memory is not what it once was.

Be thankful they will beat the crap out of you if you get into them. I got too close to a rock wing dike on the AR river and had 3 in the boat and got hit by 3 or 4 more before I could get away from it.
