I know high pressure gives most all fish lock jaw. As for the wind, I don't like an East wind, all others aren't bad. When i'm trying to fish deep I hate a lot of wind. Really I don't like any wind. Now for bass fishing I like some wind in the spring...I think when crappie are spawning it has the same effect by blowing/washing bait fish up on shore. I think this time of the year the reason wind sucks so bad is because your bait is moving too fast all the time, they want a slow moving bait this time of the year from what I've seen. Oh, well I'm still going in the morning...even though there's supposed to be some wind and and it's supposed to be out of the East. I'm still just looking for spots, once I find a few spots I know when I do catch a good day I can get on them better.
