After helping camo express get in the groove on catching some crappie, he sent word that he caught a limit on Dardanelle so we started following him around. After a couple days of covert action we found his honey hole and xring and I slipped in there this morning. We caught at a minimum of 75, of course only keeping our lawful 40. It was high action from 8:30 am till 3:00 pm. It didn't seem to matter where we dropped our yellow or char 1/4 oz jigs we would get bit. I hear a lot on here about using 1/32 or smaller jigs but we have been doing great using 1/4 oz with 2-2 1/2 slabslayers plus it don't take long to get the jig down to 25 feet where the slabbos are hanging out. xring caught a 12- 15 lb drum and gave his 11 foot Ozark rod a workout.
A great day all around.

Nice mess of fish for sure.Congrats!
Rtark, You reckon camo express would get suspicious if we asked him to fly a arkansas flag on his boat, I drove 70 miles trying to see where he was fishing only to find there are more than one camo express boats in this country...lol
Thanks for the heads up Alan, you'da'man.
I've used 1/4 oz. jigs for years over here at Nimrod. Boy, it sure makes a thump when they hit it!
