Mb480 we were finding our depth and structure and tight lining. Depth has been 23 -33ft. Morning and late afternoon the past couple of days, not sure what this cold front will do to them. Hope you get on some slabs!

You just have to learn your new water and adjust your presentations to catch fish. Worlds of difference fishing mud holes and deep clear reserviors. When I fished Bass tournaments the clear reservoirs were the toughest for me. I perfer shallow colored waters to fish in. I grew up fishing Nimrod where the water is not considered clear anytime by most standards.

Degray / January 2nd / Tough day of fishing with the baraometric pressure high and STRONG winds out of the N-nw, but brother McCrappie and I managed to pull 24 nice slabs out of some deep water. Good times brother Mc!

Thanks 501mooney87! I'm not one to brag, but those were some slabs brother. We lucked out and got on some big ones that day! Deep Clear water lakes are fun when you find the crappie.
