    i enjoyed fishing a longside blue thunder and luvpt today i only keep 35 today i caugh 9 different fish today and counting every thing it was well over 100. lmbass,wh.bass,yellow bass,bream,catfish, drum,gar,white crappie and black speck crappie when these oxbows get right you can have a lot of fun, like luvpt said it dont get no better than this.

    You guys were Slab Slayin today. How do you guys rig up to power troll? Ifn you don't mind tellin. We do it with an 6-8 oz weight and those HT extendable 16' poles with the reel seat clip. We cut off a foot of the tip and replace the rod tip.

    terrific haul...i like seeing the youngin' along , also.. i raised 2 boys but now get to fish with the grand daughters...they ae an absolute hoot in the boat.

    not sure what you mean by power trollng? I think he was just implying that he was fishing faster than normal speed is all. We all use a little different stuff but rods range from 14 to 16 ft and most use 1/2 to 1 oz of wt depending on wind and depth fished to get the jig to the fish.

    Sorry didn't get to get down there today but after 17 hour drive back home the last two days I was just wore out and slept in this morning.
