never heard of catching crappie on cricketts
Caught crappie on crickets many times while bream fishing.

Sorry about misleading. Just posted this way because on the bream post, I had commented about cranks. In the past I have caught a few on crickets, but not last night.

Crickets???? Really???? That is a new one on me. I have never fished for crappie with crickets. Like a couple of other people posted, I have caught crappie evern bass when bream fishing with crickets. I say whatever works is good. Good looking mess of fish.
No crickets were harmed in the catching of those crappie last night however we did massacre the crickets catching bream on SaturdayThumbs Up.

Nice catch RCC. Those are some nice crappie if they came from were I think they did or thats a small cooler. I think I am going to get me a small cooler. HAHA Be carefull out there in the heat.
They really looked bad in the big cooler so I put them in the 6 pack cooler and took the picture againRofl You know what they say, I had a couple nice 6 inchers and several small ones.
