    Default Met a fellow on the lake today...


    Not a member here but a nice guy. He has invented some kind of bass catching bait that he said the bass go nuts over. He said today he caught and released over 35 bass and 8 times he caught multiples. He was recording video, and showed me videos he had made since april. He said he will have a patent on the rig by the end of the month and Bass Pro was going to carry it. He also said that if I liked catching 2 lb crappie to go down to some lake around Marianna. I told him I don't know if I liked catching 2 lb crappie or not, since I had never caught a 2lber.Rofl

    There are some really nice fish caught at Bear Creek in Marianna. Its more known for it's bluegill and huge shellcracker though. Big Crappie in the 2 lb range are common. 10hp limit lake, so be aware.
