As you know there is'nt much shade in the middle of Nimrod. I usually last till 10 or 11 am and then am burn't out! You must have a little shade on Conway or your tougher than I am these days. Will tell ya though the bigger fish seem to bite more after it gets hot? Guess they are hunting shade or maybe a cool spot in my cooler. lol lol

Hey Nimrod - I would love to come down to fish your lake. All I ask on a new big lake is how deep? and point me in the right direction.

Seems like they are 8 to 10' of water . Heard Slabbandit and his boy say they were trolling a little shallower. I jig structure and bigger fish been hitting after it gets hot! Try 1/8 oz leadhead with silver flake/ white 2'' Southern Pro Umbrella tubes. They match the millions of small Shad you can see in huge schools. I stay close to creek or river drops.
Would'nt be a bad idea to get the coordinates to the Corp tops. Mainly the last 4 refurbished by Corps and Crappie.comers.
