Well I have noticed that it is all over other sites in several other states and not many think it the fish in the photo measures up. Be a good thing to clear up because When they post up 4 + lbs fish it is not hard to agree with them.

Lets hear it for the kid and his record fish!
I don't think anyone is doubting he caught a 5 lb crappie. We are just saying that the fish in the photo is not 5 lb.

Maybe ya'll are right.?.? I wish I had caught something in the 5lb neighborhood to compare him too! Every fish I catch gets the long arm in the photo.Thumbs Up..This kid is holding it up against himself...

Any agfc hand that swears that is a five pounder will lie about other stuff too. Or is too dumb to be in his position. Must be head guys brother in law.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

I have a 3 3/4 pound, and two 3 1/2 pound crappie on my wall from Grenada Lake, Ms. That crappie makes mine look small.
I think that crappie might be 5 pounds. I've seen a couple 4 plus pound crappie from Grenada Lake, Ms. before, and that fish looks to be more round.
Even if it's not 5 pounds, it still one heck of a crappie to me. My crappie don't look like they weigh what they did in some pics either.

    Default 5 lb. Crappie ???????????

You have a camera to take a photo of the fish the young man is holding and not take a photo of the 5 pound fish dosen't make any sense. You can believe I would have taking a lottttttttt of picks. I don't believe this.
