    Default Old Town

Is it still high and muddy? Thinking about setting some yo-yos baited with worms out saturday night but don't want to take a friend on a wild goose chase.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

vanilla flavoring will keep them away. mr. turtle likes absorbine jr but it stinks and didn't work as good for me as vanillia flavoring.

Had days when I would pay ten bucks for a head net. Also days when I could have sold a dozen for ten bucks each.

I use bounce dryer sheets, they work as good as vanilla and are easier. Them &#$%^%$$%^ knats leave welts on me the size of golfballs. I hate them!

I went fishing with an older coworker one time and I knew the knats were gonna be bad. I doused myself pretty liberally with vanilla. Once we got on the water there was not a Knat one. After we had fished for about 4 hours my partner turned around and looked at me and said "Bill, I know your gonna think I'm crazy, But I swear I smell coconut pie" I about fell out of the boat laughing when he said that and mentioned how it had been weighing on him all morning if he should say anything about it.
