Size: 32.0 KBwell I got off work at a decent time and check my girl out early from school. She has been after me for a while to take her fishing. I loaded the boat up and off we went to a local oxbow. She caught her share of good ones. We left the lake with her asking "can we go tomorrow?". Nothing like a father and daughter trip. We ended up with 15 good crappie. Bite was light. We didn't miss many fish that we could tell.

Way to Go J.W. ! ! ! Looks like you've got her zero'd in on the fish. It was a nice day to fish with very little wind....wish I could have been there.

Hey PT had some motor malfunctions and didn't make it to where we fished other day but all in all had a good time. Caught all on jigs, stayed hung up a lot too.

Its good to see people, taking time out of thier busy schedules to take a kid fishing, The catching fish part is a bonus!! Most kids are just happy getting a chance to go fishing. If I have kids going fishing in the boat, 9 out of 10 times, I will be taking them bream fishing, only because it is almost a sure thing to catch fish. A lot of kids now and days have never been fishing, and dont know how much fun it can be. There is nothing like watching a kid catch bluegill bream one right after the other, off of a hot fishing spot.
You can't beat the taste of them ole fried SLABS N TATERS!!

I see she has been schooled in the proper technique for holding fish for pictures. Good job and a great day.

Glad y'all had a great time. I'm jealous on two counts, though. My little girl has grown up, and all our oxbows are under a lot of flood water.
